Marilyn Monroe, "Lure of Lace" Large Tearaway Calendar (ca. 1952). Vintage original 16" x 33.75" bright red wall calendar featuring Marilyn Monroe in her iconic Tom Kelley nude kneeling pose (Pose #1) from the "Golden Dreams" (also known as "Red Velvet") series, later featured in Playboy Magazine Issue #1. For modesty, the image includes a printed black lace teddy overprint and is captioned: "Posed By MARILYN MONROE In The Nude. With Lace Overprint." Printed as a promotional item for Dietrich Motor Sales, the calendar retains its full 8" x 6" 12-month tear-away pad stapled at the bottom. Exhibits expected age and edge wear, with staple holes and several small tears near the bottom. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
