Description
Lucille Ball and Gary Morton's Cartier Pewter Dish. The gift is from Marvin and Barbara Davis in gratitude for Lucy and Gary's presence at The Children's Diabetes Foundation event, a 7" pewter dish by Cartier, engraved "The Carousel Ball 1981". Also included is a note reading: "Dear Lucille and Gary, Thank you for being with us in Denver at the Carousel Ball. Your special efforts on behalf of children afflicted with diabetes means so much to us and to the children. Fondly, Barbara and Marvin Davis." The dish is in Excellent condition and is accompanied by the original Cartier box and light blue cloth storage pouch. This lot will be accompanied by a letter of provenance from Susie Morton as the widow of Gary Morton, Ms. Ball's second husband.
