Richard Donner's 1987 hit film Lethal Weapon brought Mel Gibson (Martin Riggs) and Danny Glover (Roger Murtaugh) together as LAPD detectives who are forced to become partners. A simple murder investigation quickly becomes an action-packed war with an international drug ring. Riggs and Murtaugh have to put their differences aside and work as partners. The success of the film led to a television series and a total of 3 sequels! A fun fact about this film is that it was the first to show a modern cell phone! It was a Portable Radio Shack Model 17-1003, launched circa 1986.This 1987 VHS copy of Lethal Weapon with wraparound Warner Home Video watermarks has received an overall grade of 80 NM by VGA with matching box and seal subgrades of 80.
