Description

Jilly Rizzo's Personal Copy of Frank Sinatra, Steve Lawrence and Eydie Gorme Diamond Jubilee World Tour 1991 Concert Itinerary. From September 15 to October 12, 1991, Frank Sinatra, Steve Lawrence, and Eydie Gorme took their "Diamond Jubilee World Tour" across Europe on a four-week jaunt. Frank Sinatra Jr. conducted the orchestra. Following rehearsals in London on September 17, they played Antwerp, Milan, Rome, Pompeii, Oslo, Malmo, Paris, Frankfurt, The Hague, and Dublin before returning to Los Angeles. Sinatra right-hand man Jilly Rizzo had received the tour itinerary, but remained behind in Palm Springs, having experienced a "falling out" with Frank. This spiral-bound Diamond Jubilee World Tour 1991 itinerary was owned by Rizzo; contents include the complete tour dates, musicians and crew itinerary, staff itinerary, luggage tag list, rehearsal and tour calendar, and separate transportation and lodging information for each European city and venue. This volume is a one-of-a-kind treasure related to one of Frank Sinatra's major tours, and was in the possession of Jilly Rizzo from 1991 until his death the following year, when it became part of his estate archive. In Very Fine condition. From the Jilly Rizzo Estate Archive. Accompanied by a letter of provenance from William Rizzo.
