Jilly Rizzo's Personal Copy of Cinderella at the Palace Script. On November 2, 1978, CBS Television broadcast the two-hour special Cinderella at the Palace, which brought together a who's who of top Las Vegas performers who were under contract to Caesars Palace. Aside from Frank Sinatra, other stars included host Gene Kelly, Paul Anka, Sammy Davis, Jr., Jackie Gayle, Merv Griffin, Tom Jones, Ann-Margret, Andy Williams, Jimmie Walker, Don Knotts and Rip Taylor. This unique Cinderella at the Palace First Draft script, dated June 6, 1978, 126 pages, bound with three metal clips and marked "Jilly" in pencil on the cover, was used on the set by Rizzo throughout the taping. Contents include the cast list, full rehearsal and shooting schedules, the complete line-up of numbers performed by Sinatra and company, and all the lyrics to the songs. This script, which includes some pencil annotations, was in the possession of Jilly Rizzo from 1978 until his death in 1992, when it became part of his estate archive. In Fine condition with minor wear, creases, and some separation of the cover at the clips. From the Jilly Rizzo Estate Archive. Accompanied by a letter of provenance from William Rizzo.
