Humphrey Bogart Bronze Finish Life Mask. Perc Westmore was the Warner Bros. makeup artist on many of Humphrey Bogart's films, including the milestones High Sierra (1941), The Maltese Falcon (1941), and Casablanca (1943). This life mask with faux bronze finish and enhanced with hair and eyebrows, measures 8" wide and 14" tall, and captures Bogart (1899-1957) at his peak. Finish has become a bit "flaky," and some pieces have fallen away from mask -- Fair to Good condition. One can imagine Bogart seething during this life mask ordeal (and after the process was finished, cursing) -- still, the final effect was surely worth the discomfort. A most impressive artifact of Bogart in his most dynamic Warner Bros. era. Accompanied by an LOA from Jeannie Westmore.
