Hellraiser is a 1987 horror film directed by Clive Barker, adapted from his own novella "The Hellbound Heart". The movie follows a group of people who unleash a group of sadomasochistic beings from an alternate dimension, known as Cenobites, who offer pleasure through pain. The film's themes of pleasure and pain, and the blurred line between them, have made it a classic in the horror genre. Hellraiser also marked Clive Barker's directorial debut and solidified his place as a master of horror, establishing his signature style of body horror and exploring taboo subjects with a poetic and artistic approach.This extremely rare release is believed to be the first time the film was released on Home Video. It has received a Box grade of 7 EX and a Seal grade of 9 Mint by IGS.
