    Description

    Glenn Ford's Capitol-Flown Flag with Letter. A large U.S. flag with 48 stars, flown over the United States Capitol Building during an unspecified period, with a letter of provenance dated March 22, 1956 from Architect of the Capitol J. George Stewart to then-Vice President Richard Nixon. Nixon passed the flag along to Ford, a close friend and supporter, many years later. The flag is in Excellent condition, and the letter is in Very Fine to Excellent condition and framed to an overall size of 11" x 12.5". From the Glenn Ford Estate. Accompanied by a letter of provenance from Peter Ford.
