Including: 1) typed on House of Representatives letterhead, sent to JW in Beverly Hills, CA, dated "March 23, 1967," regarding the Republican Associates-Boosters Program, signed in black fountain pen ink in the lower corner "Jerry Ford;" 2) typed on White House letterhead, sent to JW in Beverly Hills, CA, dated "November 4, 1974," reading in part "I am glad to have a copy of 'On Being My Own Man' / written by Leonard Read," signed in same manner; 3) typed on personalized stationery, sent to JW in Hollywood, CA, dated "March 15, 1975," regarding the Republican Senate-House Dinner, signed in same manner; 4) typed on White House letterhead, sent to JW in Newport Beach, CA, dated "October 2, 1976," regarding the 'Salute to the President' Dinner, signed in same manner; 5) typed on White House letterhead, sent to JW in Newport Beach, CA, dated "October 4, 1976," reading in part "I very much appreciate having your views on the 'Explorer,' / and I know we both look forward to the day when it again / sets sail," signed in same manner; 6) typed in White House letterhead, sent to JW in Beverly Hills, CA, dated "December 3, 1976," regarding campaign help, signed in same manner; 7) typed on personalized stationery, sent to JW in Newport Beach, CA, dated "October 14, 1977," reading in part "Man! What a relief to hear the hoofbeats / of the big white horse and see a friendly / gun gallop into view," signed in blue felt-tip ink in the lower left side; and 8) handwritten in black felt-tip ink on personalized stationery, dated "May 8, 1979," reading in full "Betty and I are / pulling for you and praying / for you along with millions / upon millions around the world. / You have deepest affection / and admiration. / Jerry Ford;" included are three transmittal envelopes, one 'note to self' penned in black felt-tip ink in Wayne's hand about how to file a letter, and one file copy of a 1977 letter Wayne wrote to Ford.
