Edgar G. Ulmer Profile Bust. In 2006, at the bi-annual Ulmerfest, Arianne Ulmer Cipes and Ulmer historian Bernd Herzogenrath paid tribute to Ulmer by having a bronze profile tablet placed on the wall of his birthplace in the city of Olomouc in the Czech Republic. The artist, Bohumil Teply, sculpted Ulmer's likeness both as a young man and an older man and asked the city of Olomouc to select which bust to display. Olomouc chose the "young" bust and Arianne purchased the older one, featured here. The sculpture is 15" tall, measures 10" from tip of nose to back of head, and is bolted to a 12.5" x 17.5" wooden background with small dedication plaque. Classical in style, perfectly suited to its subject. Also included is a color 8" x 10" picture of Arianne Ulmer Cipes with the sculptor, Teply, a postcard of Olomouc, and paperwork related to Arianne's purchase of the plaque, signed by Arianne and Teply. Until spring of 2010, this bust decorated Arianne Ulmer Cipes' home and is in Excellent condition. From the Edgar G. Ulmer Preservation Corp. Accompanied by an LOA from Arianne Ulmer Cipes.
