Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels star in this movie that can be described with a single word, dumb. At first sight, Carrey's character, Lloyd Christmas, falls in love with the lovely Mary Swanson, who "accidentally" leaves a briefcase at the airport. In love, Lloyd decides to deliver the briefcase to Mary along with his trusty friend, Harry Dunne, played by Daniels. What the duo doesn't know is that the money inside was ransom money! Fun fact: Jeff Daniels got a call from his agent the night before filming was meant to start, begging him not to go through with it, stating that Jim Carrey would get all the credit for the comedic movie. Lucky for us Daniels went with his gut and delivered a stellar performance.The copy here has been graded 85 NM+ by VGA with the following sub-grades: box (85) and seal (85).
