Cleopatra (1963) Draft Scripts. This set of four scripts from the notorious epic includes a first draft (April 24, 1959, 205 pages, by Nigel Balchin); revised first draft (May 13, 1959, 190 pages by Balchin); third draft (January 11, 1960, 155 pages plus revisions by Balchin and Dale Wasserman); and original shooting script from the film's first incarnation under Rouben Mamoulian (July 15, 1960, 147 pages plus revisions, no byline). A mammoth production that went through two directors, four screenwriters, numerous actors, and a $44 million budget ($300 million in today's economy, modified for inflation), plus a mounting series of misfortunes during production that included a scandalous public affair between stars Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton, resulted in a large-scale misfire that nearly bankrupted 20th Century Fox. The scripts are in overall Very Fine condition.

The movie quite literally changed my life. I have included a pic of me in Sly's Rocky 3 Cashmere overcoat, would much appreciate if it is possible for you to forward this email to Sly to let him know the overcoat is in good hands, and will be well taken care of, (as will be the Rambo knife forging tools, the other lot I won!) Wish you very happy holidays and a great 2016!
