Description

Bruce Lee's Personal Green Hornet Episode #4 Script with Bruce Lee Photo. Bruce Lee's personal copy of the final draft screenplay (dated June 14, 1966; 40 pages including revisions, title page, set list, and cast list; minimal notations) for the episode "Crime Wave" of the short-lived adventure series. Inspired by the success of the Batman series, ABC produced The Green Hornet as a companion show, though it was played straight as opposed to the camp comedy of the Caped Crusader's show. It only lasted one season of 26 episodes before cancellation, but managed to establish the martial arts legend as a rising star in the U.S. It maintains a cult following and is a staple of syndicated television to this day. Originially purchased at auction in Beverly Hills in 1993, the script is in Very Fine to Excellent condition with some mild discoloration to the cover, and is accompanied by a b&w snapshot of Lee, originating from his estate, and produced by the actor in anticipation of autograph requests during the show's unproduced second season.
