Bruce Lee's Fencing Helmet Used When Sparring. A fencing-style helmet with metal mesh face mask owned and used by Bruce Lee during his workout, training, and teaching programs at his Jun Fan Gung Fu Institute circa 1966-67. The mask, which lee acquired in Hong Kong, was used primarily during sparring practice. Lee is known to have incorporated many techniques from the sport of fencing into his own style of martial arts. The mask is in Very Fine condition with some wear from use. Accompanied by LOAs from Taky Kimura and from University Archives.
