Description

Beverly Hills CENSORED Club Pair of Vintage Photos. Two pictures rich in show business lore. The first is a beach scene, featuring legends Al Jolson, Jack Benny and Rudy Vallee with others, the stars bedecked in swimming finery. The second is a picture of large assemblage in tuxedos, all gathered for a dinner honoring George Jessel, dated March 14, 1926 (while Jessel, later known as "the Toastmaster General," still had his original hair!). A poster welcoming Jessel hangs among the American flags. The beach pose is in a 12" x 15" brown wood frame, the dinner picture in a 15" x 23" black plastic frame. The dinner picture shows champagne bottles clearly visible on the tables in this Prohibition era shot -- interesting perhaps, but hardly surprising. The brown frame has some scratches, otherwise they are in Very Fine condition. From the Beverly Hills CENSORED Club Celebrity Roast Archive.
