Bad News Bears Betamax (The Audio/Video Plus Collection) 1980 - CGC Home Video Box 8, Seal A, Gatefold Box, LRB Seal, Paramount Home Video. In the 1976 movie "Bad News Bears," a washed-up alcoholic ex-ballplayer, Morris Buttermaker (Walter Matthau), is recruited to coach a little league baseball team consisting of misfits and outcasts. Buttermaker transforms the team into a winning squad by teaching them unorthodox and often controversial methods, including drinking beer and smoking cigarettes. However, the team faces their biggest challenge when they go up against the best team in the league in the championship game.

This extremely rare Betamax gatefold copy of The Bad News Bears is among the earliest factory sealed copies we've ever seen. This copy comes to us from the unbelievable Audio/Video Plus Collection, which includes some of the earliest factory sealed home video releases we've ever seen. This 1980 copy has received a grade of 8.0 by CGC Home Video with a Seal grade of A.
