Audrey Meadows Personal Photo Album and Ephemera (ca. 1945-1965). Vintage original collection of (90+) photographs and assorted printed matter from the personal collection of Audrey Meadows, dating from the 1940s-1960s, consisting of approx. (35) 8" x 10" black-and-white photographs including press and publicity photographs, theatrical performance stills, personal life, and travel photograph, approx. (40) 10" x 8" black-and-white photographs including press and publicity, theatrical performance, personal life, and travel photography, (8) smaller format black-and-white photographs of similar subject matter, and approx. (10) pieces of printed matter including 2- pages of typewritten poetry on yellow lined paper, 5- pages of an untitled play typewritten for Meadows by a friend, and 1- letter of recognition from the Office of the Director, Special Services Division, U.S. Armed Service Forces, presented to Meadows following a recreational program given to troops stationed in the Southwest Pacific during World War II, signed by Major General Joseph W. Byron, and other miscellaneous ephemera. Photographs exhibiting various degrees of age and wear with bumps, creases, and tears present, with some sleeves to the album also exhibiting age, wear, and handling. Printed matter also exhibiting various degrees of desiccation from age and handling, with bumps, tears, and brittle edges present to several of the documents, commensurate with items of this nature. Items should be considered unexamined outside of sleeves and come enclosed in a 13" x 16" x 1.5" purple suede photo album binder with zipper closure. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
