Annotated Final Shooting Script for M (1951), with Staff and Production Reports. In 1950, when Dalton Trumbo was facing his blacklisting crisis, his devoted secretary Minnabell Cline worked for Superior Films, Inc. on a remake of the 1931 classic M. The original, directed by Fritz Lang and starring Peter Lorre as a child murderer, had won international acclaim, but the remake directed by Joseph Losey and starring David Wayne in the title role was considerably less successful. This lot features the entire 119-page script, as well as additional pages of shooting schedule, staff listings, call sheets, and daily production reports. A complete nuts-and-bolts record of the film, in Excellent condition.
