A once-live bird, now magnificently stuffed with its tail feathers in full bloom, mounted to a wooden base; given to Borgnine by George Lindsey -- the actor best remembered for his role as "Goober Pyle" on the long-running 1960s CBS television series, "The Andy Griffith Show;" the two friends exchanged gag gifts like this for many years. (Please note some of the feathers are ruffled and bent due to age.)
