DescriptionAn Ernest Borgnine Group of Abraham Lincoln Collectibles, 1860s - 1980s. Five pieces including: 1) a well-done needlepoint, matted and framed; 2) a silver-colored commemorative left profile bust in high relief, text on the lower right side reads "J. Powell F. Patented 1865," set against blue velvet, housed in its original round wooden frame, partial 19th century business labels still affixed to back of frame; 3) a metal bookend, back signed "M. H. Thatcher" (please note the head has broken off but can likely be soldered back on); 4) a silver-metal right profile in high relief; and 5) a wrought iron bookend, stamped on the back "Copyright 1928;" Borgnine was a lifelong Lincoln admirer, scholar, and collector as this lot indicates!
