Standard design but taller than average, wooden frame painted black, gray vinyl seat, backrest and attached script holder, small black plastic placard affixed to left arm reads "E.T.B." [Elizabeth Taylor Burton]; used by the star on the set of this film that co-starred her husband, Richard Burton, in a re-telling of the Faust legend; interestingly, Taylor won a Silver Berlin Bear award for 'Best Actress' at the Berlin International Film Festival for this role of "Jimmie Jean Jackson;" after production wrapped, Taylor gifted this chair to her stand-in and friend, Michelle Breeze, whose family has now consigned it to this auction.
