An Ava Gardner Collection of Bling-y Rhinestone Jewelry, Circa 1940s-1960s. Eight pieces total including: 1) a rhinestone and faux pearl-drop necklace; 2) a Deco-style rhinestone choker; 3) an elaborate Deco-style rhinestone bracelet; 4) a smaller Deco-style rhinestone bracelet; 5) a rhinestone and light-blue stone bracelet; 6) a Deco-style rhinestone sweater clip; 7) a rhinestone and pink stone coat brooch in the form of a bunch of grapes; and 8) a circular Deco-style rhinestone brooch; obtained by the current owner from Michael Pitt who bought them from Jean Crossingham [Ava's niece] during the time the two of them were archiving Gardner family photographs together in the 1990s; according to the niece, all these pieces were gifted to Ava's sister over the years when the star was done wearing them; included with a LOA from Pitt regarding one of the bracelets in this lot.
