Description
An Annotated Working Script from "Wake of the Red Witch." Republic, 1948. Goldenrod front cover (no back cover), screen play by Harry Brown, annotation likely in Wayne's hand written in pencil on upper center reads "J. Wayne," dated "May 22, 1948," marked "Estimating-Shooting Script," 109 pages, a few annotations by Wayne in pencil throughout, mainly very slight revisions to the dialogue such as: page 64 "I don't know / I don't want to ever hurt" (instead of "I didn't want to hurt you"); page 81 "I don't blame," and similar minor changes, a few pages are dog-eared or have certain sentences underlined in pencil. (Please note cover is unattached from brads and margins of pages are somewhat frayed.)13" x 9"
