An Animation Maquette from the 'Lipton Brisk Ice Tea' Commercial, 1997. Made of foam and mounted to a wooden base; used in the cute television commercial that pays homage to "Rocky" where Stallone provided his actual voice to his 'puppet self.' (Please note the figure is somewhat tattered with foam loss and dings due to age.)

"I was asked to do the voice for a commercial and I thought, "Nooo thanks" but then I saw these great maquettes they had made up and I thought, "These are absolutely extraordinary." I told them, "The deal is, I don't even care if I get paid, I just wanna have these pieces in my collection!" So, we made a deal and I did the voice for Rocky in the commercial and to this day, I still find these pieces incredibly humorous -- they really did capture a moment in time through these animated puppets."
