American Eagle by Grant's Eco Art
    Benefitting Mercury One
Bid to win this reprint of a beautiful work of art by Grant Manier, a talented and inspiring young artist!

Grant made his original depiction of the American Eagle using recycled poster boards, magazines, and calendars. He used more than 3500 pieces of recycled paper to create the artwork. This reprint has paper added to it to give the original look and feel. Dimensions are 16" x 20".

Here is a description of Grant's art in his own words:
"My name is Grant, I am 16 years old, I am an author, artist and speaker. I also have Aspergers, a form of autism. Having autism is not a bad thing, my disability has become my ability to help change the world. I enjoy drawing, painting, collaging and recycling for art. I paint by paper. . . . I recycle and create cool works of collage art using magazines, calendars, wallpaper, envelopes, posters, Kleenex boxes, food wrappers, puzzles and more. Each work of art contains 1000 to 6000 cut or torn pieces of recycled paper. I use cool colors, shapes and textures. I call my art 'COOLAGES.' I wish to share my eco-art talent with everyone. Let's all become environmentally responsible by protecting and saving our earth together in a 'coolage' way."

Grant is emerging as one of the most intriguing and captivating young artists today. His Eco-friendly artwork is capturing the attention of his community, gaining national media and he is honored with awards for his eco-impressionism and outstanding contribution to the autism and special needs community.
