Including (in chronological order): 1) a letter from David Frost handwritten in black felt-tip ink on personalized stationery, sent to JW in Los Angeles, CA, dated "October 7" [1971], regarding a taped interview; with original transmittal envelope; 2) a telegram from Frost, sent to JW in Durango, Mexico, dated "Abr 27, 1972," reading in part "Your legend is huge enough but you are ten times / bigger;" 3) a letter from Dick Cavett typed on personalized stationery, dated "Montauk March 26, 76," regarding author John Neihardt; 4) a mailgram from Tom Brokaw, sent to JW in Newport Beach, CA, dated "05/04/78," regarding a taped interview; 5) a telegram from Tom Brokaw, dated "05/15/78," regarding same interview; 6) a letter from Barbara Walters, typed on ABC News letterhead, sent to JW in Beverly Hills, CA, dated "December 4, 1978," regarding Patty Hearst; 7) a letter from Barbara Walters, handwritten in black felt-tip ink on personalized stationery, sent to JW in Newport Beach, CA, dated "January 22" [1979], regarding his heath; 8) a letter from Tom Brokaw handwritten in black felt-tip ink on NBC News letterhead, sent to JW in Newport Beach, CA, dated "Feb 14 '79," regarding his health; and 9) a mailgram from Wayne to Walters, dated "3/14/79," thanking her for "treating me kind of special;" with some original transmittal envelopes included.
