A Steve McQueen Owned Script from "The War Lover." Columbia Pictures, 1962. Leather-bound by California Bookbinding, with the film's title and "Steve McQueen" gold-stamped on the cover, screenplay by Howard Koch, "1961-62" gold-stamped on the spine; 147 pages; never offered before anywhere, from the personal collection of Steve McQueen; in this, one of several war films starring the King of Cool, McQueen receives top billing as self-serving Air Force pilot Captain Buzz Rickson; loosely based on a 1959 novel by John Hersey, "The War Lover" was a British production filmed at several Royal Air Force stations in Great Britain. (Please note the interior pages exhibit light toning due to age.)
