    Description

A Steve McQueen Owned Script from "Le Mans." Cinema Center Films, 1971. Leather-bound by California Bookbinding, with the film's title and "Steve McQueen" gold-stamped on the cover, and "1970" gold-stamped on the spine; no authorship noted, 121 pages; from the personal collection of Steve McQueen, who stars as top-flight race driver Michael Delaney in this film, which wasn't commercially successful at the time, though due to authenticity of how the 24-hour race is run (the film showcased the actual Le Mans racing circuit, and real race footage, with revered race drivers and authentic Le Mans cars featured to replicate the experience of the grueling race), "Le Mans" has garnered a massive cult following since its release. (Please note there are several pages with red markings throughout the script.)
