A Scrapbook Related to "Gone with the Wind," 1939. Compiled by a seemingly important person who was part of the exclusive premiere festivities in Atlanta, Georgia in December 1939; pages display numerous items such as never-before-seen black and white snapshots of the premiere attendees (Clark Gable, Carole Lombard, Vivien Leigh, Laurence Olivier, David O. Selznick, Margaret Mitchell, Evelyn Keyes, Ann Rutherford, and Ona Munson, among a few others), autographs (on individual small pieces of paper) of actors including Clark Gable, Vivien Leigh, Olivia de Havilland, Hattie McDaniel, Alicia Rhett, Laura Hope Crews, Ann Rutherford, Evelyn Keyes, and Carole Lombard, among a few others, a GWTW premiere program, a GWTW Junior League Ball program, typed up itineraries and schedules of the actors and other VIPs attending the various festivities, newspaper and magazine clippings, hotel menus, and a few other pieces commemorating what was surely a very exciting time for the city of Atlanta. (Please note all pieces mentioned above have been glued to the the pages of the scrapbook, including the snapshots and autographs; also note the cork scrapbook covers are falling apart but the interior pages are not affected.)
