A Prop Statuette from "Tales from the Crypt." Metromedia Producers Corporation, 1972. A weighty piece made of solid clay, simulating an ancient Chinese figurine, painted mint green to resemble jade, inscription on base reads "Three wishes I give and no more / To each owner of me so keep score / Each will come true so take care what you do / ...Deplore;" seen in the fourth segment of the horror film titled "Wish You Were Here" which starred Richard Greene and Barbara Murray as a married couple who use this statuette to make three really bad wishes; other notable actors in this campy cult flick include Joan Collins and Sir Ralph Richardson who portrayed "The Crypt Keeper." (Please note the staff that the figure holds is broken but can be repaired, and there are chips and paint loss around the base.)
    Height: 18"

The producer of the film, Paul Thompson, consigned this prop directly to Heritage after having owned it for the last forty years. He relayed a funny story about how the staff (that the figurine holds) broke off right before filming started and a prop man had to temporarily tape it back together. After the scene was shot, the piece was never repaired properly which is how it's being offered now.
