An old 'Macworld' magazine from January 1988 that was re-made with a cover showing an image of a couple under text reading "The Living / and the Dead / Harmonious lifestyles / and peaceful co-existence / From the Author of / Handbook for the Recently Deceased," the back cover reading "Handbook for the / Recently Deceased / Press," rest of interior pages are those of the actual magazine; seen at the end of the film when Jeffrey Jones [as "Charles Deetz"] has come to terms with his other-worldly housemates.
