Dated "September 11, 1953;" a standard one page, double-sided boilerplate agreement between CBS Television and the star, but with an interesting rider stapled to the front reading in part "Artist's compensation for the performance of services hereunder shall be a new 1954 Standard soft-top Cadillac convertible automobile, which shall be delivered to Artist in 1954...;" rider initialed by the star in blue fountain pen ink "MM" and signed "Marilyn Monroe" in the lower left corner; verso also has an added rider stapled to it, reading in part "It is understood that the program hereunder shall be originally broadcast on a live basis...," also initialed by MM.

Marilyn Monroe made her television debut on "The Jack Benny Program" in an episode titled 'Honolulu Trip' which originally aired on September 13, 1954, just two days after she signed this contract. She played herself in a funny segment where Benny fantasized that she was in love with him.
