    A Mae West Group of Evening Purses, 1930s-1970s. Four total including: 1) the first white-beaded, with a white-beaded handle, elaborate rhinestone clasp, label reads "Made in France / by hand / Walborg;" 2) the second white-beaded, with a white-beaded handle, ornate gold-colored metal clasp with four miniature oval-shaped 'romantic portraits,' label reads "Delill / Hand Made in France;" 3) the third brass mesh (one side near top closure needs repair), brass chain handle; and 4) the fourth clear plastic with large rhinestone adornment on front; included with a color photograph showing West with four young men as she holds the #1 purse; also included with a signed 'Letter of Provenance' from John West, Mae's nephew.
