DescriptionA Judy Garland Lightly Annotated Song Book, 1950s. A maroon leather three-ring binder, embossed on the front "Song Book / Judy Garland" and repeated on the spine; inside filled with countless pages of sheet music of songs in categories such as "Foxtrots, Show Tunes, Latin American Tunes, Songs of the Gay Nineties, Hillbilly Tunes, Polkas, Foreign Songs" and "Marches" among others; a few annotations penciled on the title page in Garland's hand (likely snippets of lyrics) read in part "For all we know / none but the lonely hear / I'll never forget you / I'll never be the same" some other notes in different hands appear as well; from The Collection of John Strangi. (Please note the title page with the annotations is now in very fragile and tattered condition.)
