Gouache and pencil on illustration board; the first depicts an idealized version Lewis wearing a red jacket, with numerous penciled annotations, signed in the lower right corner "Pat Barto;" the second depicts Anna Maria Alberghetti as "Princess Charming," signed in the lower left corner "Sprague;" and the third depicts Nola Thorp as "Cinderella" (in rags), signed in the lower right corner "Pat Barto." Also included are ten other costume design sketches; all gouache and pencil on illustration board or construction paper; six of child actress Donna Butterworth from the 1965 Paramount film, "The Family Jewels" starring Jerry Lewis, one of a female by Sprague, two of females by the same unidentified artist (though both appear to have penciled annotations in Edith Head's hand); and one of a male by an unidentified artist; some have attached fabric swatches; most have penciled annotations on the front, back, or both sides.
