    A Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy Group of Items, 1940s-1960s. Two items; the first a hardcover book titled "Present Indicative" by Noel Coward, no dust jacket, published in 1937, with a penciled ownership signature on the front free end paper reading "Jacqueline Bouvier;" with an original bookplate reading "Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy;" with a further added bookplate and lot sticker noting book was originally from The Estate of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis auction at Sotheby's; the second a group of five engraved notecards reading "Mrs. Kennedy is deeply appreciative of your sympathy and grateful for your thoughtfulness," evidently sent after JFK's assassination; from The Collection of John Strangi.

    The book was originally sold in the Sotheby's New York auction titled The Estate of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, Sale 6834, April 23, 1996, Lot 1067, final price realized was $6,900.
