A Harry Houdini Signed Letter to Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, 1922. On a single sheet of personalized letterhead; dated "May 3, 1922;" a short typed note to the author of the "Sherlock Holmes" books regarding an introduction for a "Mr. Edward H. Morrell" who Houdini is vouching for; signed in black fountain pen ink in the lower right corner "Harry Houdini" -- somewhat rare as he usually signed with his last name only. (Please note the letter is folded and there is foxing and yellowing evident which somewhat affects the signature area.)
    11" x 8 1/2"

The two famous men had a long association which was sometimes rocky due to their differing beliefs in spiritualism and the afterlife -- Houdini being the skeptical one.
