The first an envelope from the Hotel Conant; postmarked "Sept 3 1923 Omaha, Nebraska;" with Houdini's black fountain pen ink inscription noting "Mr. R. Weiss / Philadelphia / 954 North 5th St Pa" (no letter enclosed); the second a small piece of paper with Houdini's penciled notes (likely for a telegram) reading "recd letter / well with / regards 2U2 / Houdini."
