A Frank Sinatra Super Extensive Scrapbook Compiled by a Super Fan, 1944. Huge in scope, filled with pages and pages and pages of newspaper clippings, magazine clippings, ticket stubs, fan magazines, comic strips, booklets, scripts, radio programs, and marketing items all related to Ol' Blue Eyes in the year of 1944; compiled by a then-young girl who was part of a devoted fan club called "Artanis" ["Sinatra" spelled backwards] -- a small group of Los Angeles-based Bobby Soxers who followed the singer around town so often when he was in Hollywood that Sinatra knew them all on a first name basis; the clippings are exceptionally detailed and comprehensive with much information contained in them only known now because this scrapbook still exists; consigned directly by the "young girl" who is now in her 80s! (Please note all the pages are brittle and chipping away with touch but the clippings glued to the pages are still intact, legible and solid; the book itself now has no spine and it is kept together with a piece of rope.)
    Scrapbook: 14" x 11" x 4"
