    A Fatty Arbuckle-Gifted 14K Gold and Platinum Cigarette Case, 1919. Rectangular, with platinum inlays in the form of stars and geometric designs, engraved on front "MGK" [for Maurice G. Kahn], engraved on inside left side "To / Dr. Maurice Kahn / Dear Doctor, / Your patience with your patients / Brings a friendship none can sever / You've had my case so many times / Accept this case forever / Xmas 1919 / Roscoe C. Arbuckle;" hallmarked on inside handle in part "Feagan & Co. / Platinum 14k;" included with a brown leather case (with a vintage mailing label glued to it) and a small black and white snapshot showing the actor and the doctor surrounded by other men at an outdoor event; gifted to the doctor by Arbuckle two years before the scandal that did him in; interestingly, Kahn was an early "doctor to the stars" and was a founding member of the famous Cedars of Lebanon hospital in Hollywood which morphed into Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, still celebrated for treating movie stars today.
