A Buck Jones Owned Set of Leather Cuffs. Set of two leather cuffs, hand-tooled in a floral pattern into gorgeous, deep brown leather, with brass rivets and buckles, once belonging to Buck Jones, huge cowboy star of the early western era, and actual cowboy. Jones was born Charles Gebhart near Vincennes, Indiana in December of 1891. After serving in the United States Army, Jones got work as a Cowboy at the 101 Ranch in Oklahoma. Initially hired as a stuntman, Jones scored his first starring role in 1920, in The Last Straw. His career lasted over two decades, though tragically, Buck Jones passed in 1942, from a fire in Boston which claimed 492 victims. The leather looks great, with minimal wear to the cuffs, and only slight cracking on the fastening straps.
