DescriptionA Buck Jones Owned Knights Templar Sword and Framed Masonic Trowel/Replica Badges. Ornate presentation sword, manufactured by esteemed makers of lodge paraphernalia the C.E. Ward Company, presented to Buck Jones, beloved Western movie hero of the 1920s, 30s, and early 40s. 32" etched steel blade with Jones' name and a floral pattern, with "C.E. Ward Co./New London/O." on the reverse ricasso. With a gilded brass/base metal hilt and pommel, and a celluloid grip etched with the initials "B.H." and Templar symbology. It includes a beautifully ornate scabbard of gilded brass, decorated with Knights Templar regalia, and "Buck Jones" engraved toward the top. The blade has some light surface rust, and the scabbard shows some scratching and wear.
Framed in a shadow box to 9" x 11" is a wonderful compliment to the ornamental sword: Jones' miniature Masonic trowel, a small plaque that gives his name and lodge number, as well as small replica badges and trinkets from the Buck Jones Club!
