    A Bing Crosby Group of Items, Circa 1940s. The first a green glass flask covered in red leather with a brown leather emblem in center depicting men in battle, gold-colored decorative plastic screw-off top, bottom stamped "Made in Italy;" the second a Lucite paperweight with a crucifix suspended in center, bottom reads "To Bing Crosby / God Bless / You / From Ernie;" included with a Butterfield's catalogue (where both pieces were originally sold) signed in black ballpoint ink on the cover by Gary Crosby and Kathryn Crosby, Bing's son and wife respectively. (Please note the leather on the flask has tears, scratches, and minor loss throughout; the paperweight is also scratched.)

    These pieces were originally sold as part of a bigger lot in the Butterfield's (San Francisco) auction titled "Bing Crosby Memorabilia," Sale 3201C, May 28, 1982, Lot 1503 -- all items in this auction were directly part of Crosby's Estate as consigned by his widow, Kathryn.
