A Bette Davis Group of Jewelry, Circa 1930s-1980s. Eight pieces total including: 1) a silver-tone wristwatch by "Illinois;" 2) a silver-tone wristwatch (no brand); 3) a silver-tone wristwatch by "Olympic;" 4) a gold-tone and rhinestone brooch; 5) a rhinestone brooch in the form of a cat's face; 6) a cameo brooch; 7) a turquoise ring; and 8) a rhinestone brooch in the form of a female hand, back stamped "Trifari;" all worn by the star over the decades; included with a signed 'letter of provenance' from Kathryn Sermak, Davis' longtime personal assistant.
    Various Sizes

Interestingly, Bette Davis is seen wearing the 'hand' brooch from this lot in the photograph that appears on the back dust jacket of her 1962 autobiography "The Lonely Life."

    Kathryn Sermak relays this story:
"Miss D often wore the diamond cat broach pin when going out for dinner. She was superstitious and always believed it brought her good luck like the other broaches she adored."
