    Description

A Bette Davis Group of Decorative Items, Circa 1950s. Four pieces total, including a ceramic Pekingese dog statuette stamped on the bottom "England;" a green glass bud vase with handpainted detailing; a Toby jug stamped on the bottom "Staffordshire Fine Ceramics / England / Hand Painted / Porthos;" and a colorful wax form with text on it reading "BD 86;" all on display in various homes where the star lived over the years; included with a signed 'letter of provenance' from Kathryn Sermak, Davis' longtime personal assistant.
    Tallest: 10"

    Kathryn Sermak relays this story:
"The ceramic Pekingese dog was always on the living room mantle piece. The green bud vase was one she would put a flower in by her bed side, sometimes roses but only 1 or 3.
The candle reading BD86 was the Xmas gift she gave to all her personal friends. When lit - it gave a beautiful glow and the star on the outside would shine."
