Martian stop-motion puppet created for Mars Attacks! Martian stop-motion puppet created for Mars Attacks! (Warner Bros., 1996) This stop-motion martian puppet is a piece of what little remains of the early production for Mars Attacks! The Tim Burton Sci-Fi film was originally slated to rely heavily on stop-motion animation. While the alien invaders were changed to CG, the design remained the same. This fully articulated figure features a ball-and-socket armature beneath an impressively sculpted and intricately painted soft foam latex body. The figure measures approx. 15 in. tall. It has been in cold storage at Warner Bros. studios to preserve the fragile materials, and so it remains in very fine condition. It comes directly from Warner Bros. Studios, and comes with a COA from Warner Bros.
