Marlon Brando "Jor-El" hero light-up "Rod of Justice" from Superman. (Warner Bros., 1978) This hero illuminating "Rod of Justice" was screen-used by "Superman's" (Christopher Reeve) father, "Jor El" (Marlon Brando), when sentencing the villainous "General Zod" (Terrence Stamp) and his co-conspirators in the unforgettable opening scenes of Richard Donner's classic Superman. Consisting of a 41 in. long transparent plexiglass rod with black rubber jacketed electronics hub at the bottom and visible wires. The electronics were used to light the length of the staff from below. The top of the rod is faceted to give the appearance of a crystal, which was the general design motif of the landscape on Krypton. Showing minor signs of wear and production-use. In vintage very good condition. Electronics present but untested. Special shipping arrangements will apply.
