DescriptionMannequin: On the Move Matte Painting of Hauptmann-Koenig (TCF, 1991). Matte painting accomplished in mixed media on 57" x 34" glass in pine frame. Painted by Syd Dutton.
This painting established a view of the fictional kingdom of Hauptmann-Koenig one thousand years after the transformation into a mannequin of a hapless peasant girl named Jessie (Kristy Swanson). This painting was part of a multiplane shot that included a moving background sky with lightning and rain as an additional element. For the sale of this painting, a black cloth was placed behind the clear glass to clearly illustrate the painting available.
