Manhattan Melodrama (2) scripts by Arthur Caesar with working title "Three Men". (MGM, 1934) Set of (2) vintage original studio bound and bradded scripts for the "Best Original Screenplay" Academy Award-winning film, including (1) dated Sept. 8, 1933 with 68-pages, studio sticker tipped to cover with ink stamp "INCOMPLETE" and (1) "Revised Script" dated Oct. 2, 1933 with 67-pages, with studio sticker tipped to cover with ink stamp "COMPLETE" on the lower left recto. Also includes 1-typed and signed letter on AMPAS letterhead from Jean Hersholt to Arthur Caesar inviting him to a special Academy screening of the film. Exhibiting production wear, use, age and handling, paper loss, tears, soiling, toning and creasing. In vintage good condition. Provenance: International Autograph Auctions Spain, 28th March 2015.
