Judith Godrèche "Christine Bellefort" gown and mask from The Man in the Iron Mask. (MGM, 1998) This beautiful period costume gown is worn by Judith Godreche as "Christine Bellefort", mistress of "King Louis" (Leonardo DiCaprio) in The Man in the Iron Mask. Costume includes a long period dress of rich saffron jacquard ornamented with gold cord trim at the neckline, open balloon upper sleeves upon silk inner full-length sleeves with lace cuffs and yellow ribbon. The bodice features an integrated fitted corset and the attached skirt with train is gathered at the hips. A beige muslin petticoat, a hip roll, marked "Judith Godreche", a pair of yellow stockings and a pair of beige leather shoes, each marked "Judith Godreche" complete the lavish ensemble. Visible as worn in the "Garden Party" sequences of the film. Also included is a gold-toned masquerade mask with ribbons and handle from the masquerade ball scene. Overall, in very good condition.
